Ethiopia’s ruler Meles Zenawi continues pretending  to appear more democratic than he ever been. The truth of the matter is that he  wants to act well to convince some fools as  he would be stepping down peacefully after 18 years of dictatorial ruling.  Of course, he also wish to show his masters , the World Bank, IMF and EU, that he abides by their rules and therefore  that he gets  their protection against all odds including the future accusation on war crimes and many violations against humanity.

The tyrant who rigged the 2005 election result,  who killed and jailed 100 thousands, tortured many and responsible for genocide and war crimes can never easily step down unless some myth is found to protect his deeds .

Unlike the fools in Aiga forum, that include the baby doctor WASHERA 2, Mr Zenawi knows very well that a democratic Ethiopia will never  be a likely place  for criminal thugs like him. The tyrant ruler recognizes that he does not have many choices left other than acting to pretend democratic to his  masters  in the World Bank, IMF and EU at least for the next few years.

What is left for the 54 year old cash strapped tyrant is either to remain in power until he dies (to avoid justice) or to replace himself with another co-criminal who would indirectly  protect him  as he protect himself.  Of course his children will be once more victims as they would soon join many predecessors and millions of Ethiopians.

Since he is cash strapped now, as a beggar, he must also fulfill his masters (World Bank, IMF , G8 etc ) interest in order to satisfy the addiction for aid and able to pay mercenaries  who would  secure his welfare .

The strategy, idiotic that appears, for now is  carrying out a sham election and make sure his tribalist  party wins again  ….in the the game called “Election 2010!”

2010 is a year away……….The theater that will be costing Ethiopia a lot will be soon free for the rest of the world……It is just like a wedding that two people do  after  living together  in an abusive relationship for 18 years ….
