The Ethiopians urge President Obama’s Administration to increase its pressure on the Ethiopian rulers for the unconditional and immediate release of Birtukan Midekssa and several thousands of political prisoners. They also demanded that the US support the causes of Ethiopian freedom, democracy and human rights.
The candle light vigil was organized by the Andinet (UDJ support group) Metro, Free Birukan Group and several Ethiopian American civic and political organizations.
